Water by Relaxatone

Medicinal-Ambient-Relaxation

Water begins the elemental journey of Relaxatone with a flowing sonic landscape of purification and renewal. Guitarists Jason Goessl and Tom Harter perform live on guitars tuned to resonate at 432 Hz, creating waves of crystalline calm that can help dissolve stress, restore balance, and invite emotional clarity. Water is the first in a four-part series—followed by Air in October, Earth in November, and Fire in December—culminating in the full-length album Elements this January.

About Relaxatone

Relaxatone
Relaxatone is medicinal music crafted by guitarist Jason Goessl and recorded live with fellow guitarist Tom Harter. Designed to support wellness practices, Relaxatone creates immersive soundscapes using open tunings based on ancient Solfeggio frequencies and 432 Hz resonance—frequencies long associated with healing and relaxation.

Through lush delay textures, reverberant harmonics, and ambient improvisation, Relaxatone evokes a state of deep calm and gentle renewal. Ideal for meditation, massage, yoga, Reiki, sleep, and all healing arts, the sound dissolves distraction and anchors the listener in presence. Recorded live at TRS Studios in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, these sessions channel natural forces into sonic form—Earth, Air, Water, Fire—and culminate in the full-length album, Elements.

Jason Goessl
Jason Goessl is a guitarist and sonic healer originally from Maribel, Wisconsin. With a deep musical journey spanning surf, jazz, Brazilian, metal, and ambient genres, he brings a masterful sense of mood and emotion to every note. Now based in Oshkosh and founder of Sun Goose Records, Jason channels his decades of performance into Relaxatone—a project focused on vibrational healing through open tunings and ancient frequencies. With guitar as his voice, Jason composes soundscapes for stillness, rest, and renewal.

Tom Harter
Tom Harter is a seasoned guitarist and composer whose 40+ year career bridges blues, fusion, metal, and acoustic music. His improvisational instincts and melodic intuition make him the perfect partner in Relaxatone, where electric textures meet ancient intention. In this collaboration, Tom leans into spacious, contemplative playing—blending ambient phrasing with meditative purpose to support healing and inner calm.
