About Stuck On Blue

In the tapestry of musical fate, Stuck On Blue emerged organically in 2015, a convergence of the talents of Kelvin Kaspar, Jake Crowe, and Mike Malone. With a collective musical history that spanned nearly a decade, their friendship and mutual reverence for originality birthed a new chapter in their artistic journey. Each member, having traversed diverse musical landscapes in previous collaborations, brought a unique perspective to the trio, where individual creativity blends seamlessly into a collective genius.

The trio's debut in 2016 with the live-recorded album "Direct From The Source" at The Source Public House in Menasha, WI, set the stage for their expansive presence in concert series across the state. While gracing the varied performance settings of the Fox Valley, Stuck On Blue solidified its reputation for a genre-defying sound, drawing inspiration from jazz luminaries such as Pat Metheny, Bill Frisell, and John Scofield.

The resonance of Stuck On Blue's music is at once familiar and extraordinary, a testament to their ability to infuse timeless jazz standards, inventive instrumental renditions of pop hits, and original compositions with a distinctive voice. As they delved into their latest venture, "City Guys," in 2022, the album stands as a testament to nearly six years of unwavering dedication to the art of composing, arranging, and refining their sound.

Stuck On Blue extends an invitation to audiences to join them on this musical odyssey, where each note is a reflection of the passion, camaraderie, and boundless creativity that defines their collective spirit.
