Brighter Days (album) by Erin Krebs

Jazz | Vocal Jazz | Vintage Jazz | Swing | Samba | Blues

From toe-tapping swing tunes and upbeat Latin grooves, to a stunning duo performance of “Someone to Watch Over Me” with pianist Paul Sucherman, Brighter Days certainly showcases Erin Krebs’ versatility as a vocalist. Rounding out the stellar rhythm section is Jerry Sparkman on bass and Mike Malone on drums. Some tracks include sought-after saxophonist Eric Koppa, and we get treated to a dose of guitar goodness from Krebs’ long-time partner, guitarist Jeff Johnston. From the fresh arrangements and clever songwriting, to the excellent musicianship, Brighter Days will appeal to Vocal Jazz fans both old and new.
